This is a working drawing for Hazel’s Wedding outfit.
We looked at this beautiful embroidered organza in lilac and claret and decided that the claret suited Hazel’s skin and hair colouring, better than a pastel lilac.
We also considered putting an asymmetrical layer of the contrasting colour underneath but decided this would look wrong in the darker claret!
To lighten the jacket around the neckline, I copied the embroidery from the organza and repeated it around the sleeve cuffs.
The embroidery is very subtle in green and gold with swarovski crystals in shades of pink.
